The last eight years have been productive, exciting, and challenging times for the i2i Center for Integrative Health and for our work to support the development of integrated whole person care for those served in the MH/IDD/SUS system in North Carolina. We are very proud of the extensive and diverse projects, grants and activities we have been a part of and led during this time.

As we all know, this is a time of increased change and instability which is affecting many non-profit organizations. This comes at a time when public health and human services are more critical than ever to the well-being of North Carolinians. In response to these realities, the i2i Center for Integrative Health has made the difficult decision to cease operations. Our organization name will sunset over this summer, with plans underway to preserve the important networking via our well-known statewide conferences. In the coming months, our conference work will transition to the North Carolina Association of Public Community Health PlansNCAPCHP will assume responsibility for maintaining the inclusive efforts for which the i2i Center is known.

It has been the i2i Center’s great pleasure and privilege to steward inclusive policy work by bringing the critical insights of individuals with lived experience to decision making tables. This inclusive effort has resulted in equalized and informed discussions with stronger input from those with lived experience, and ultimately, more informed and inclusive policy decisions. The partnerships between the i2i Center and dedicated advocates, service managers, providers, hospitals, universities, state government, and others has greatly improved the public MH/IDD/SUS system.

The i2i Center team is grateful to everyone we have worked with over these many years, first as the NC Council of Community Programs and now as the i2i Center for Integrative Health.
