In the Fall of 2019, the i2i Center for Integrative Health partnered with the NC Collaborative for Children Youth and Families (NCCCYF) and NC Families United (NCFU) to host 2 webinars – Conversations on Medicaid Transformation. These webinars were specifically designed to educate families, Family Partners, and Community Partners on Medicaid Transformation to increase their collective understanding of the changes occurring with the start of Medicaid managed care in North Carolina. In particular, Lead Family Partners were experiencing an increase in families seeking their assistance as families receive notification of new Medicaid procedures, and these webinars provided all participants with reliable information to assist them.
