Old Vineyard – Changing to Meet Community Needs

During the pandemic, mental health struggles and substance use are increasing for many people.  Old Vineyard Behavioral Health Services continues to make changes to meet these challenges.  To respond to these needs, Old Vineyard added services with virtual access.  Our clinical admissions team offers online assessments as on option for individuals who prefer this method over an in-person meeting.  If you are a provider or clinician, you can also call and set up an assessment while the patient is in your office.

Recently, Old Vineyard converted one of our adult units to adolescents since the current need for youth in crisis is very high.  When you are looking for an adolescent placement, please consider Old Vineyard which currently has 67 youth beds (ages 12-17).

In addition, Old Vineyard shifted all outpatient programs to a virtual platform.  Our Intensive Outpatient Program meets three times a week with our therapists who educate patients on better coping skills with mindfulness, stress management, emotion regulation, and interpersonal skills.  For our Partial Hospitalization Program, patients meet daily to work on life management skills through the same DBT principles, and also will discuss their medication with a provider to ensure an optimal outcome.

Access is 24/7 for all of our inpatient and outpatient programs.  You can make the call as a patient, provider, or family/friend, and talk to a clinical professional in our admissions department at 336-794-4954.  To learn more about our services, please visit our website at oldvineyardbhs.com or follow us on Facebook or Instagram.
